Correlated disorder as a way towards robust superconductivity

چکیده
Abstract Ordinary superconductors are widely assumed insensitive to small concentrations of random nonmagnetic impurities, whereas strong disorder suppresses superconductivity and even makes superconductor-insulator transition occur. In between these limiting cases, a most fascinating regime can take place where enhances superconductivity. Hitherto, almost all theoretical studies have been conducted under the assumption that is completely independent random. real materials, however, positions impurities defects tend correlate with each other. This work shows correlations impact on making it more robust less sensitive potential. Superconducting properties therefore be controlled not only by overall density defects, but their spatial as well.

A Robust Desirability-based Approach to Optimizing Multiple Correlated Responses
There are many real problems in which multiple responses should be optimized simultaneously by setting of process variables. One of the common approaches for optimization of multi-response problems is desirability function. In most real cases, there is a correlation structure between responses so ignoring the correlation may lead to mistake results. Hence, in this paper a robust approach based ...
متن کاملPlanning Domain + Execution Semantics: A Way Towards Robust Execution?
Robots are expected to carry out complex plans in real world environments. This requires the robot to track the progress of plan execution and detect failures which may occur. Planners use very abstract world models to generate plans. Additional causal, temporal, categorical knowledge about the execution, which is not included in the planner’s model, is often available. Can we use this knowledg...

متن کاملSuperconductivity in Strongly Correlated Electronic Systems
A microscopic theory of superconducting pairing within the Hubbard model is discussed. A Dyson equation for the matrix thermodynamic Green function in the Nambu representation for Hubbard operators is derived by applying the Mori-type projection technique for the equation of motion method. The self-energy is calculated in the noncrossing approximation for electron scattering on spin and charge ...

(Dated: June 28, 2009) Abstract We consider extended versions of the Hubbard model which contain additional interactions between nearest neighbours. In this letter we show that a large class of these models has a supercon...
